How To Get Listed On Yourhobby.com

Option One:

Links can be added any time, by entering the information required for listing. Simply click on the list you wish your link to appear on. Fill out the on-line form and submit it. Links are automatically and immediately placed on the desired list, fast and easy.

Remember that each time you list a link, your ISP address is recorded. This is for our site security. Individuals who abuse this service will be placed on the "Band ISP/User List" and will not be listed or able to use this service. The following rules should be kept in mind when placing a link on our service.

  1. Only one (1) link is permitted for your site (not each page) on each link list.
  2. Place your link in the most appropriate category on the link list. That way it will get the best exposure.
  3. The link you list, must work with out redirecting the user, or have non-requested windows open.

YourHobby.Com has the final say over which links/sites will be listed, edited, band, or deleted.

Option Two:

Fill out the on-line application form and submit it. We will review your application and submit it directly the regular list. This will by pass the pre-listing step. Although many users will look at the "New Links List" this will place you on the regular page without being list their first.

All site applications are reviewed for the following points;

  1. The submitted site URL link (http://) is working and direct.
  2. The sites code (HTML, CSS, Java, etc.) works properly without error.
  3. No "spam" tactics deployed within the site or submissions.
  4. Applicant site is relevant to the hobby category/topic applied for.
  5. A contact (email address) for the site is clearly listed on the site's main page.
  6. The site cannot use code that will open non-requested browser windows or 'cookies' at any time.

Applicant reviews takes 3 to 9 days to be completed. On acceptance to yourhobby.com an email will be sent to the applicant. The listing will be placed on the applied category/topic list. All sites are re-checked on a regular basis to ensure compliance o the accepted application. URL or links may move around on the alphabetical listing . Site owners may remove their site or re-apply for a change hobby category/topic at any time. The dispositions of who is listed is determined by yourhobby.com, and a determinations are final. All applicants and listed sites shall hold S & S Richards Productions and Yourhobby.com harmless. Participation on yourhobby.com is voluntary.
